Ways to Give
Kansas City Repertory Theatre produces work on stage that garners local, regional and national acclaim. Each year, more than 12,000 local students benefit from Rep education programs that help teachers meet state education standards and keep learning fun for kids (on both sides of the state line). The Rep also offers lifelong learning opportunities for adults through our Conversation Series, reaches out to the community with after-school programs for at-risk kids, and more.
With only about half the Rep’s revenue coming from ticket sales, the generosity of individuals who believe in the theatre’s work and invest in its vision are crucial to its success.
Get in on the act and be part of the excitement at KC Rep with a donation today. (And, because we are a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization, all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent the law allows.)

Annual Fundraising Gala

We are turning our grounds at Spencer Theatre into a carnival for this year's Carousel-themed fête. The Rep will be presenting The Living Room’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless musical Carousel from March 8-31, 2013, and our annual gala will be a celebration of all the things we love about a carnival, including incredible performances, games and activities, and the best carnival fare you've ever tasted.

This is a particularly exciting time to be a part of KC Rep. We are looking forward to an upcoming New York engagement of Venice—written by Matt Sax and KC Rep Artistic Director Eric Rosen and named TIME magazine’s best musical of 2010—as well as the Broadway premiere of A Christmas Story: The Musical! which had its world premiere at KC Rep in 2009.
Locally, KC Rep has taken its place among the top arts organizations in the city. Whether providing traditional fare or serving as an incubator for new works from emerging artists, KC Rep is essential to the cultural life of the region. We are also sharing our enthusiasm for the arts in Kansas City with over 10,000 area students who benefit from KC Rep’s education and community programs each year, many of whom are experiencing the wonder of live professional theatre for the first time.

Matching Gifts
How do you make a gift of $100 worth $200? By having your employer match your gift. Many area corporations offer matching gift programs and, as a Rep donor, you receive benefits equal to the combined value of your gift plus your company's match. To get your gift matched, pick up a gift matching form from your company's personnel office and mail the completed form to Kansas City Rep. We'll take care of the rest.

Gifts of Stock

With a gift of stock, you can take a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock. In addition to a charitable gift tax deduction, a gift of stock offers the extra benefit of avoiding capital gains tax on your stocks' appreciation. -
