Nicole Marie Green, a white woman with blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, stands with her arms open wide as she talks to a diverse group of highschool students. Nicole wears a dark grey dress over black leggings, brown ballet flats, and a long brown cardigan with pockets that is almost the same length as her dress. There is a white nametag on her dress. The students she talks to are seated.
Teaching Artist Nicole Marie Green shares theatre knowledge with local students.

We recognize the unique creativity and learning styles of students by providing programming in your school that incorporates multiple learning and teaching styles that enhance thinking skills and encourage creative and positive self-expression within an artistic/academic context.

While all programs are developed using grade-appropriate curricular models and standards, each can be adapted to serve students of all ages and abilities and match specific teacher objectives.

Our team of teaching artists will visit your school and lead your students in the discovery of classic and contemporary plays and theatre skills through the process of rehearsal and performance. The team can teach all day for numerous classes in various disciplines or for an abbreviated day of fewer classes.  Week-long residencies are also available.

Whether students are approaching these texts and skills for the first time or are more experienced, Rep on the Road immerses young scholars  in the process used to make the words and the literary terms they study in class come to life.  This workshop is an ideal way to enliven and supplement a Literature, Arts, Speech, English, History, or Drama class.  We can customize the program content based on what you are exploring in any class or discipline or you can choose from the texts we have prepared.  Daily schedules correspond to teachers’ schedules within each school—whether on block or regular schedule (including daily planning time).

NOTE: Each residency is custom designed with educators to meet students’ needs on a school-specific basis and includes 1-2 advance planning sessions.
