Kansas City Repertory Theatre produces work on stage that garners local, regional, and national acclaim. Each year, over 12,000 local students benefit from Rep education programs that help teachers meet state education standards and keep learning fun for kids (on both sides of the state line). The Rep also offers life-long learning opportunities for adults through our Conversation Series, and reaches out to the community with a Spanish translation of A Christmas Carol, after-school programs for at-risk kids, and more.
With only about half of the Rep’s revenue coming from ticket sales, the generosities of individuals who believe in the theatre’s work and invest in its vision are crucial to its success.
Get in on the act and be part of the excitement at KC Rep with a donation today. (And, because we are a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization, all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.)
Your contribution to our annual fund directly impacts the quality of productions, the caliber of artists on stage, and our ability to maintain community and education programs.
Plus, with an additional donation to the Two Stages. One Rep. campaign, you can be part of this exciting new chapter of expanded and diversified service to the community.

How do you make a gift of $100 worth $200? By having your employer match your gift. Many area corporations offer matching gift programs and, as a Rep donor, you receive benefits equal to the combined value of your gift plus your company’s match. To get your gift matched, pick up a gift matching form from your company’s personnel office and mail the completed form to Kansas City Rep. We’ll take care of the rest.

Kansas City Rep gratefully accepts gifts of stock and you can receive significant tax benefits when you give appreciated stocks and bonds. With a gift of stock, you can take a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock. In addition to a charitable gift tax deduction, a gift of stock offers the extra benefit of avoiding capital gains tax on your stocks’ appreciation.

Have you heard about the Pension Protection Act of 2006? This act provides taxpayers with a temporary, tax-free "IRA Rollover" option to help encourage charitable giving in both 2006 and 2007. If you are over the age of 70 ½, you can make a gift of up to $100,000 by making direct transfers from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). You don’t have to itemize this gift or report the distribution as taxable income.
